The
process
Independence
Ice starts
by using filtered water that is continuously tested. By starting
with clean water we can make sure that we produce clean ice.
The water is then used to fill large tubes that will create cylindrical
ice cubes. When the water is frozen, the ice is forced out of
the tubes and cut into cubes.
The cutting process
can create unwanted ice pieces that most manufacturers do not
remove before bagging your ice. Independence Ice removes these
pieces and uses them to create our block ice. This process ensures
that only full ice cubes will be bagged.
After the ice
pieces are removed, we separate and refreeze our ice cubes. By
doing this we prevent the ice cubes from freezing together. If
the ice remains frozen after it leaves our warehouse, then the
customer will not have to separate the ice cubes before use.
Independence
Ice can bag your ice order using our bags or yours. Customized
bagging helps you maintain your image in your customers' marketplace.
Our ice making
process starts and finishes with quality. If you use Independence
Ice for your next order you won't want to use any other manufacturer
again. Call us when your supply of ice is getting scarce and
we can quickly get you back in the business. |
